Viking Hlin (built 2014) is one of the new generation Viking Cruises longships. This river cruise ship is named after the Norse mythology’s compassionate goddess of consolation and protection of humankind. Hlin (pronunciation “lean”) is also a handmaiden of Frigg – the wife of Odin. The name Hlin in Old Norse means “protectress”.
Viking Hlin cruise ship deck plan has a total of 95 staterooms for 190 passengers served by 50 crew/staff, 4 passenger decks, 1 glass elevator (connecting Main-Upper decks only). The Viking longship Hlin has no gym, pool/whirlpool or spa. Guests may access health & spa facilities at luxury hotels along the Hlin’s itinerary route.
