Port of Ancona (Italy) welcomes 6 cruise ships in 1 week

Port Ancona (Italy) welcomed an exciting cruise week as from May 8 to 16, a total of 6 ships are calling at the port.

Sunday (May 8) at 9:00 a.m., there was the 5th call of MSC Fantasia, 22 times this season. The MSC ship departed at 3:00 p.m. for Kotor (Montenegro).

Monday (May 9) there was the great return of Marella Explorer 2 following the pause due to the COVID crisis. This was the first of 12 calls scheduled for the year. Arriving from Ravenna (Porto Corsini, Italy), Marella Explorer 2 left for Split (Croatia), along an itinerary in the Adriatic which also includes Venice (Marghera, Italy) and Koper (Slovenia).

Wednesday (May 11), Azamara Onward is scheduled to arrive from Dubrovnik (Croatia, Port Cruz). The Azamara Cruises ship will leave at 8:00 p.m. to reach Ravenna. She will return to Ancona on October 13.

Thursday (May 12), the new Viking Mars ship, built by Fincantieri in its Ancona shipyard, will depart for her maiden voyage, starting an adventure to enjoy Viking Cruises guests.

Sunday (May 15), starts a new weekly appointment with MSC Fantasia, while on Monday, May 16, at 9:00 a.m., the Oceania Nautica will visit the Ancona port arriving from Trieste (Italy). Following a full day in the Marche region, the Oceania Cruises ship will leave at 7:00 p.m. for Split (Croatia).
