MSC Cruises announced details of the technologically advanced onboard entertainment options on its newest vessel - MSC Seascape.

When the vessel debuts in December 2022, Seascape will feature innovative experiences for passengers of all ages.

The highlight onboard will be ROBOTRON – a new amusement ride that offers the thrill of a rollercoaster at sea combined with a personalized DJ music experience. MSC Seascape will also feature a couple of new VR/virtual reality experiences and a host of other high-tech entertainment.

MSC's ROBOTRON is a unique state-of-the-art robotic arm with an attached 3-seat gondola flying 53 m above sea level. Riders will admire an unobstructed 360° view of the horizon while hanging over the edge of the deck, twisting and turning upside down in different directions, and flipping upside down.

ROBOTRON will offer a personalized DJ experience where passengers are invited to curate the musical trip with music preferences, colors, and more. Original theming sets the stage for a pulse-pounding DJ experience. Seated on the mixer, vacationers will find themselves behind the DJ booth, with the bass and rhythm visualized as pulses of light, colorful patterns, and people dancing on a huge video screen all while the robotic arm is twisting in tempo. Riders can select their thrill level, making ROBOTRON both a high-thrill experience.

In addition to ROBOTRON, high-tech entertainment features onboard MSC Seascape also include VR 360° Flight Simulator, VR motorbikes, MSC Formula Racer, and Immersive XD Cinema.
