HAL-Holland America launched its "See the World from Your Doorstep" campaign, which highlights the leadership of the line in roundtrip travel from homeports in the United States.

People looking to avoid a long-haul flight can sail roundtrip from Boston MA, Fort Lauderdale/Port Everglades FL, San Diego CA, or Seattle WA with HAL. The brand offers more 15-night voyages from the USA to global destinations than any other major cruise company, visiting 225 ports in 91 different countries.

Casey Cole, vice president, marketing and e-commerce, Holland America said that over the past year, they had seen "a shift in the way people vacation with the unpredictability of air travel and the desire to explore more," and there was more interest in longer trips from their home ports in the U.S.

The company offers 4 Grand Voyages, roundtrip from the USA, for travelers who wish to circumnavigate the world/explore Africa, South America, Australia and New Zealand. Monthly voyages include a roundtrip itinerary from San Diego CA visiting Tahiti, Hawaii, and the Marquesas/a roundtrip departure from Boston MA visiting Norway, Iceland, Greenland, and the British Isles.
