Massive fight breaks out on Carnival Sunrise cruise ship

   September 17, 2022 ,   Accidents

Earlier this month, a massive fight broke out on CCL-Carnival Cruise Line's Carnival Sunrise ship after someone allegedly took another person's seat at the Tides Bar.

Passengers shared footage of the altercation involving 20-30 people punching/beating each other by the Tides Pool (aft on Lido Deck/deck 9) on September 9th.

A man wearing a lanyard tried to diffuse the violence by using his body in order to block the punches.

It is unclear if any arrests have been made or if anyone involved has been injured.

Carnival Sunrise was en route back to the USA, ending a 5-day Western Caribbean voyage (visiting Jamaica's Ocho Rios and Grand Cayman's George Town) roundtrip from PortMiami.
