Silversea Cruises' ship Silver Moon starts Aqaba Jordan's winter season

On Saturday, January 6, the Aqaba Cruise Ship Terminal (Petra, Jordan) extended a warm welcome to Silver Moon, heralding the commencement of the 2024 winter cruise season in Aqaba. The vessel arrived with 278 tourists and 408 crew members, setting the stage for a bustling season.

Peter Marji, the Tourism Director of the Aqaba Special Economic Zone Authority (ASEZA), shared insights into the itinerary of the visiting tourists. The visitors were set to explore the Golden Triangle, following a meticulously planned program in collaboration with ASEZA and local travel agencies. The day culminated with their return in the evening before Silversea's Silver Moon departed Aqaba on the same day.

Aqaba is currently abuzz with both active tourism and trade, coinciding with the launch of the Aqaba Discounts Season. This initiative, a collaborative effort involving various governmental and private sectors, adds to the dynamic atmosphere, further enhancing Aqaba's appeal as a prime destination for travelers and traders alike.
