HX (Hurtigruten Expeditions), recognized globally as leaders in expedition cruising, have unveiled their plans to elevate the onboard guest experience.

Beginning with Antarctica & Galapagos Islands expeditions commencing in October 2024, HX will implement an 'all-inclusive' offering as a standard feature fleetwide, effective from November 2024, extending to all destinations.

Following their rebranding to HX last December, this development in product offerings marks one of many initiatives aimed at amalgamating their esteemed exploration legacy with contemporary guest expectations.

The comprehensive 'all-inclusive' package encompasses a spectrum of amenities, including expert-led daily expeditions, an array of science-based activities both onboard and in natural habitats, as well as complimentary alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, and professional photography services. These enhancements seek to enrich the onboard guest experience and streamline product offerings for trade partners, constituting a segment of a broader endeavor to craft the quintessential expedition cruise experience.

For guests embarking on HX expeditions, commencing with Antarctica & Galapagos expeditions from October 2024, their standard cabin accommodation will encompass:

  • Daily expeditions and activities encompassing hikes, community visits, lectures, and more.
  • Full board dining, inclusive of breakfast, lunch, and dinner accompanied by house wine and beer.
  • Availability of wine, beer, spirits, and cocktails throughout the day and evening.
  • Unlimited access to coffee, tea, and soft drinks.
  • Complimentary Wi-Fi.
  • Inclusive gratuities.
  • Participation in our interactive science program, Science Centre, and onboard/offboard activities.
  • Access to sauna, hot tubs, fitness facilities, and more.
  • Provision of professional photographs captured by the onboard photographer.
  • Opportunities for engagement with and support of local communities and environmental initiatives through the Hurtigruten Foundation.
  • Expedition gear and a reusable water bottle for guests to take home.
