In a strategic move to enhance regional cruise offerings, StarCruises has announced the deployment of the Star Voyager for a series of voyages connecting Vietnam and Singapore. The initiative includes three 4-night roundtrip sailings from Phu My Port (serving Ho Chi Minh City) scheduled for June 13, 17, and 21, 2025.

These departures coincide with Vietnam's school holidays, providing timely travel options for families and vacationers.

The announcement was made during a press conference in Ho Chi Minh City, attended by key stakeholders including Michael Goh, President of StarDream Cruises, representatives from the Ho Chi Minh City Tourism Centre, the Singapore Tourism Board in Vietnam, and Golden Star Travel, the cruise line's appointed local representative.

The Star Voyager, formerly known as the Pacific Explorer, was acquired and renamed by Resorts World Cruises in early 2025. The vessel boasts a capacity of approximately 1,998 passengers and features amenities such as multiple dining venues, entertainment lounges, and recreational facilities.

This deployment marks a significant development in Vietnam's cruise industry, positioning Ho Chi Minh City as an emerging hub in Southeast Asia's maritime tourism sector. The collaboration between StarCruises and local tourism authorities aims to boost both inbound and outbound travel, fostering economic growth and cultural exchange in the region.

Passengers aboard the Star Voyager can anticipate a journey that combines the vibrant culture of Ho Chi Minh City with the diverse attractions of Singapore. The itinerary offers a blend of onboard leisure and exploration of urban landscapes, catering to a wide range of traveler interests.

Bookings for these voyages are now open, with further details available through StarCruises' official channels and affiliated travel partners.
