MSC Cruises has announced a comprehensive refurbishment plan for the MSC Magnifica, scheduled to commence later this year. This significant upgrade will introduce the MSC Yacht Club to the vessel for the first time, along with enhancements to wellness and fitness amenities.
The MSC Yacht Club, known for its "ship within a ship" concept, will span five decks on the Magnifica. It will feature 63 new luxury suites, a private lounge, an exclusive restaurant, and a sun deck equipped with a pool. Guests will benefit from 24-hour butler and concierge services, offering a premium cruising experience.
Bookings for the MSC Yacht Club on the Magnifica are now open, with departures starting in the summer of 2026.
This marks the first time the MSC Yacht Club will be available on itineraries from Warnemünde to Baltic and Scandinavian destinations, as well as on the 2027 MSC World Cruise.
In addition to the Yacht Club, the refurbishment will see the introduction of a new MSC Aurea Spa. The spa will include two steam rooms, a salt room, a Kneipp path, emotional showers, and a relaxation area, enhancing the wellness offerings on board. Furthermore, a new MSC Gym powered by Technogym will be installed on deck 14, providing state-of-the-art fitness equipment for guests.
Gianni Onorato, CEO of MSC Cruises, emphasized the significance of these upgrades, stating that the extensive remodeling is the largest undertaken by the company in the last decade. He highlighted the MSC Yacht Club as one of the line's most esteemed products, appreciated by guests for its exceptional service, elegant spaces, and exclusive facilities.
The MSC Magnifica, a Musica-class ship, has been in service since 2010. This refurbishment aligns with MSC Cruises' commitment to enhancing guest experiences across its fleet, ensuring that the Magnifica continues to offer modern amenities and high-quality services to its passengers.
