Beachcomber (Costa Fortuna) debuts as Margaritaville’s largest vessel to date

Margaritaville at Sea has unveiled its third cruise ship, the Beachcomber, marking a significant milestone as the fleet's largest and new flagship. Previously operating as Costa Fortuna, the vessel exceeds 100,000 GT and boasts accommodation for approximately 3,450 guests—far surpassing its sister ships, Paradise and Islander.

Like its predecessors, Beachcomber will feature signature venues beloved by passengers, such as the 5 o’Clock Somewhere Bar & Grill, Cheeseburger in Paradise, Hemisphere Dancer piano lounge, and the License to Chill bar. It will also debut fifteen entirely new onboard experiences and recreational spaces, tailored to enhance the relaxed, island-inspired aesthetic of the brand.

Head of Design Martha Brabham indicated that the vessel’s styling reflects vintage surf art, nostalgic beach scenes, and a carefree tropical atmosphere consistent with Margaritaville’s identity, building upon the visual language introduced with Islander in 2024.

While official details on Beachcomber’s home port and itineraries remain forthcoming, it is expected to join the existing ships in Florida, following their routes to the Bahamas and Caribbean.

At over 100,000 gross tons, this expansion cements Margaritaville’s commitment to large‑scale, tropical-themed cruising, offering greater capacity and an enriched guest experience within its signature island-lifestyle framework.
