Windstar Cruises has introduced a new lineup of short-duration European sailings aimed at travelers seeking concise yet immersive getaways. Launching in spring 2026, the “Quick Getaways” series will feature yacht voyages ranging from 3 to 5 nights, designed to fit seamlessly into a wider travel itinerary or serve as a standalone escape.

The itineraries are structured to accommodate convenient access from North America, allowing guests to depart the U.S. East Coast on overnight flights and board their vessel in Europe the same day. Destinations include high-profile landmarks and lesser-known coastal enclaves, such as navigating under London’s Tower Bridge and exploring towns along the northern French coast.

The initial launch comprises five itineraries and nine departure dates, with plans to expand the series in 2027. Additional details about future sailings are scheduled for release this September.

To encourage early reservations, Windstar is offering limited-time booking incentives through August 31. These include special fares, up to US$200 in onboard credit per stateroom, and an all-inclusive package featuring select alcoholic beverages, Wi-Fi, and gratuities. Guests who pay in full at the time of booking may also receive a five percent discount.

According to Windstar’s itinerary planning division, the voyages are curated to offer a streamlined luxury experience that can complement a broader European journey or provide a brief interlude for business travelers already abroad.

Highlights of the series include:

  • a short Southern France sailing featuring Sète, Collioure, and Carcassonne.
  • a Mediterranean passage between Italy and Corsica.
  • a Belgian itinerary showcasing Bruges and its canal-lined charm.
  • a voyage beginning in London and tracing France’s rugged northern coastline.
