Amadeus River Cruises has announced the introduction of its “Five-Star Tailor-Made River Cruising” programme, which will include return flights from the United Kingdom, executive overseas transfers, and full-board accommodation on all itineraries. Gratuities will be included in the fare, and passengers will receive up to EUR 200 in onboard credit.

The company stated that the launch of the 2026 programme follows a 57% increase in UK sales during the current year, with turnover reported to have risen by 63%. Laura Wilson, Head of Business Development for Fred. Holidays, the general sales agent for Amadeus River Cruises, said the new programme was developed in response to feedback from the UK market, with the intention of providing a straightforward fly-cruise arrangement that combines convenience with peace of mind. She noted that the concept was designed to offer both choice and flexibility, with added value features incorporated into the package.

The company’s newest vessel, Amadeus Aurea, is scheduled to begin service on the Rhine in May 2026. The ship will accommodate 158 passengers in twelve balcony suites and sixty-seven cabins with panoramic windows. Public areas will include a Panorama Restaurant, sun deck with outdoor pool and Lido Bar, fitness room, and River Terrace.

The UK brochure for 2026, described as the largest the company has produced, will also feature tailor-made pre- and post-cruise extensions. These land programmes, developed specifically for the UK market, will include a four-day Glacier Express tour from Basel, a 3-night stay on Lake Como, and a range of additional itineraries. The brochure will be distributed to 400 selected partners on 22 August, with travel agents able to request copies via BP Tradegate. A digital edition and supplementary sales materials will be available through the Fred. Holidays Agent portal.
