CCL-Carnival Cruise Line has withdrawn 5 scheduled voyages of Carnival Breeze in 2027, with the company not disclosing the reason for the change. The decision follows a series of cancellations announced earlier for spring 2026.
Industry sources indicate that the affected departures are on January 11, March 5, March 13, March 18, and March 22, 2027. The vessel, which operates year-round from Galveston, Texas, will not sail on those dates.
Although no official explanation has been provided, travel industry reports note that cancellations are frequently linked to a mix of operational, logistical, and scheduling considerations. These can include major refits, adjustments to route demand, or wider timetable revisions to align with global deployment strategies.
Passengers booked on the cancelled sailings are being offered opportunities to rebook. The announcement comes less than a year after Carnival Liberty had a voyage cancelled at short notice due to a shipyard workers’ strike in Cádiz, Spain.
