DCL-Disney Cruise Line’s newest vessel, Disney Destiny, is currently undergoing sea trials in the North Sea following her transfer from Meyer Werft down the Ems River. The trial phase is a final step before her handover and entry into service, which is scheduled for November 20th, 2025.
After conveyance through Germany into Eemshaven, Destiny will undergo rigorous system tests to verify seaworthiness, stability, propulsion, safety systems and shipboard operations.
Her inaugural voyage is slated as a four-night Bahamian cruise departing from Fort Lauderdale, calling at Disney’s private islands, Disney’s Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point and Castaway Cay.
