MSC Cruises to introduce Yacht Club experience on World Cruise aboard MSC Magnifica

MSC Cruises has confirmed that its signature “ship-within-a-ship” concept, the MSC Yacht Club, will be featured on a world cruise for the first time following an extensive retrofit of the MSC Magnifica. The luxury enclave will encompass 63 suites across 5 categories, offering private keycard-only access, 24-hour butler and concierge service, and exclusive amenities such as a dedicated restaurant, lounge, pool, and sundeck.

The enhanced vessel is scheduled to debut the Yacht Club experience during the 2027 World Cruise, a 121-night voyage visiting 25 countries. MSC Cruises indicated that the decision to introduce the Yacht Club aboard Magnifica was driven by strong demand from loyal guests who had expressed interest in enjoying the same premium service on longer voyages.

MSC Magnifica’s refurbishment follows a similar upgrade for MSC Poesia, which will feature the Yacht Club ahead of its inaugural Alaska season next year. While no additional ships have been confirmed for the same treatment, MSC’s leadership has left open the possibility of future retrofits.

The upgrade to Magnifica will also introduce new specialty dining venues, including Butcher’s Cut steakhouse and Kaito Sushi Bar, expanding the ship’s culinary offering.

MSC Cruises reported that the UK remains one of the company’s strongest markets for the Yacht Club experience, consistently achieving full occupancy. The company described 2025 as a particularly robust booking year, with reservations for 2026 already up by 15% compared with the same period last year.
