MSC Cruises is finalising preparations for the arrival of MSC Seascape in Galveston, where the ship will commence year-round Western Caribbean itineraries in November.

The vessel is scheduled to begin operations from the Port of Galveston’s new cruise terminal, opening in tandem with her arrival on November 7th.

From that date, MSC Seascape will operate weekly 7-night itineraries departing each Sunday, calling at Costa Maya and Cozumel in Mexico, and Isla de Roatan in Honduras. The deployment marks MSC's first long-term deployment in Texas and expands its North American homeport network.

The ship’s entertainment and dining program has been tailored for the Texas market, featuring menus inspired by Southern and Gulf Coast cuisine. Onboard entertainment will include country music performances by the Lone Star band, a Dueling Pianos show, line dancing sessions, and a “Big Texas Sailaway Party.”

Family facilities have been enhanced with over 7,500 ft2 of dedicated children’s spaces. New offerings include a LEGO parade, a LEGO Family Game Show, and interactive experiences such as the Guinness World Record Family Quiz, MasterChef at Sea Juniors, and Doremix Family Disco.

MSC Seascape will also feature one of the line’s most extensive MSC Yacht Club complexes, providing an exclusive enclave with private restaurant, lounge, bar, sundeck, and pool. The concept includes 24-hour butler service, a personal concierge, priority embarkation and disembarkation, and reserved seating in entertainment venues.

The ship’s introduction to Texas represents a milestone in MSC’s ongoing North American expansion, positioning Galveston as a key embarkation port for Caribbean itineraries.
