Windstar Cruises has opened bookings for its 2027 program in Europe, setting out a series of new routes across both the Mediterranean and Northern waters. The line has introduced a dozen fresh itineraries designed to take advantage of smaller harbors and quieter anchorages throughout the region.
Jess Peterson, who oversees destination experience and itinerary planning for the company, explained that the 2027 schedule was shaped around the kind of encounters that larger vessels cannot easily access. Peterson noted that the season emphasizes intimate ports, extended evenings ashore, and the sense of exploring Europe at an unhurried pace.
Five yachts will operate in Europe during the 2027 season. Four of them—Star Legend, Wind Surf, Wind Spirit, and Star Pride—will sail from March through November. The new Star Explorer, expected to enter service in December 2026, will remain in Europe throughout the year. The program spans a broad range of cruising grounds, including Greece, Italy, Croatia, the Netherlands, England, Portugal, and Norway.
The season also features several specialty passages, among them two voyages timed around the Grand Prix, a cruise positioned for viewing a total solar eclipse, and a mystery-themed sailing. Windstar’s shorter getaway cruises, a recurring favorite, will also return for 2027.
