StarCruises’ vessel Star Voyager is scheduled to return to Hong Kong’s Ocean Terminal for a homeport deployment beginning February 13th and running through March 29th, 2026, offering a series of short cruises that depart from the city’s central harbour location and sail to coastal destinations along China’s southern shoreline.
In addition to continuing Star Voyager’s broader 9-month deployment from Hong Kong through much of 2026, the early season programme specifically includes two-night roundtrip sailings to Xiamen and 3-night roundtrip voyages to Sanya. These short cruises are designed to provide travellers with convenient weekend or mid-week departures from Hong Kong, enabling brief maritime journeys that combine time at sea with visits ashore in these regional coastal cities.
Departures for the Xiamen sailings are scheduled mid-week and on Friday evenings, with the vessel returning to Hong Kong by Sunday afternoon. This format allows guests to embark without extended leave from work and to experience Xiamen’s waterfront, historic districts and markets before returning to the homeport. The Sunday departures for the Sanya sailings provide a slightly longer voyage that facilitates time ashore on Hainan Island, where passengers may explore beaches, regional culture and local cuisine.
Further into the 2026 season, Star Voyager is also scheduled to operate a 5-night sailing from Hong Kong to Vietnam, with calls at Nha Trang and Da Nang and an additional stop at Sanya on March 8th, 2026. This extended itinerary broadens the vessel’s regional range beyond the short cruise offerings and ties into the wider East Asian deployment planned from the Hong Kong homeport.
These sailings form part of StarCruises’ strategy to provide flexible and accessible coastal cruises from Hong Kong, catering to passengers seeking brief maritime excursions as well as those interested in multi-destination voyages during the early months of 2026.
