Genting Dream to host Pickleball programme during February 2026 sailing

Dream Cruises has entered into a partnership with Performance Pickleball to introduce a dedicated pickleball programme at sea, to be hosted aboard Genting Dream from 3rd to 6th February 2026. The initiative is positioned as the first organised pickleball clinic conducted on board a cruise vessel and will operate during a sailing from Singapore to Phuket.

The programme will allow passengers to participate in structured pickleball sessions while underway, integrating the sport into the ship’s onboard activity schedule. Dream Cruises’ management indicated that the collaboration reflects the growing international profile of pickleball and its suitability for inclusion within contemporary cruise entertainment offerings. Performance Pickleball’s founders similarly characterised the partnership as an opportunity to extend the sport into a maritime environment.

The timing of the cruise precedes the Epic World Championship, a major international pickleball tournament scheduled to take place in Singapore between April 30th and May 4th, 2026. The onboard clinics are intended to provide participants with an opportunity to develop their skills in advance of the event.

Performance Pickleball, which has an established presence in Singapore’s pickleball community, is recognised for its use of specialised playing surfaces, including smart and cushioned courts. For the Genting Dream programme, the company will deploy a professional mobile court and deliver introductory coaching sessions led by trained instructors. A selection of related retail products will also be made available to passengers during the voyage.

Enrollment for the clinics will be handled on board at the Box Office Counter on Deck 6, with participation allocated on a first-come, first-served basis and subject to limited availability. Alongside the pickleball programme, passengers will continue to have access to the ship’s broader range of amenities, including water-based attractions, live entertainment and multiple dining venues.
