The luxury vessel Silver Spirit is scheduled for a comprehensive interior upgrade at Fincantieri’s Palermo shipyard, with work set to conclude in time for its May 2026 deployment in Northern Europe. This project will introduce Silversea’s destination-focused Sea And Land Taste (S.A.L.T.) culinary programme aboard the ship, bringing the award-recognised concept to Silver Spirit with new food and beverage venues that reflect the culture and flavours of ports visited on each itinerary. New components of the programme will encompass a S.A.L.T. Kitchen serving menus inspired by local ingredients, a S.A.L.T. Bar featuring regional spirits and bespoke cocktails, and a S.A.L.T. Lab where small-group culinary sessions will provide hands-on experiences linked to destination traditions.
In concert with the expanded culinary offerings, Silver Spirit will undergo a range of enhancements to its public spaces and passenger accommodations. The Venetian Lounge will be updated with new drapery, carpets and reupholstered seating, as well as an LED display wall to support entertainment programming. The pool deck and outdoor areas will receive refreshed layouts and furnishings, while the ship’s spa and fitness centre will be modernised with updated equipment. On the accommodation side, newly designated Medallion Suites will be introduced, featuring private verandas, luxurious bathrooms with bathtubs and walk-in showers, and separate bedroom areas. These upgrades reflect an effort to standardise comfort and amenities across Silversea’s Muse-Class vessels following the recent refurbishment of sister ship Silver Muse.
Once enhancements are complete, Silver Spirit will commence a series of voyages through Northern and Western Europe, including sailings around the Norwegian fjords, the British Isles and Western European ports, before undertaking a longer Mediterranean deployment. The timing and scope of the refit underline the line’s ongoing strategy to elevate the onboard experience through targeted improvements that align culinary programming, accommodation standards and guest spaces with evolving luxury cruising expectations.
