StarDream Cruises has outlined an expanded programme of itineraries and onboard offerings across Asia, reinforcing its presence in the regional cruise market through its StarCruises and Dream Cruises brands. Drawing on more than three decades of operational experience in the region, the company continues to offer short-duration sailings of two to five nights that connect travellers with a wide network of destinations across Southeast Asia and East Asia, including ports in Japan and South Korea.

The cruise line’s regional operations are supported by several vessels deployed across Asia. The flagship Genting Dream, operating under the Dream Cruises brand, is complemented by ships such as Star Navigator and Star Voyager under StarCruises, allowing passengers to embark from multiple Asian gateway cities and follow a variety of itineraries tailored to regional travel patterns.

Entertainment remains a central feature of the onboard programme. International productions and performances reflecting regional culture form part of the lineup, with additional themed experiences planned in connection with the tenth anniversary of Dream Cruises in 2026. Scheduled appearances include performers from the Korean entertainment industry and personalities from television and culinary programmes. In addition, the stage production Forever Broadway, created in collaboration with Broadway Asia International, is expected to debut aboard Genting Dream during the 2026 season.

Michael Goh, president of StarDream Cruises, indicated that the company’s long experience operating in Asian waters had provided insight into the preferences of regional travellers. He noted that the line’s network of more than fifty destinations allowed guests to explore multiple countries and cultures within relatively short voyages, while also contributing to tourism development and economic activity in the ports visited. He further explained that the company’s onboard programme had been designed to combine international entertainment, culturally inspired experiences and a diverse mix of activities intended to appeal to passengers of different ages.

Dining remains a key element of the onboard experience, with menus reflecting both global cuisines and regional Asian dishes suited to local tastes. The cruise line also offers certified halal options as well as vegetarian and Jain menus, broadening its appeal to a wide range of travellers.

Across both brands, passengers can also access The Palace, a premium “ship-within-a-ship” concept offering suites that range from penthouses to private villas. This section of the ship provides dedicated facilities, personalised services and butler assistance designed to create a more exclusive environment within the larger vessel.

StarDream Cruises indicated that additional developments are planned for 2026, including new experiences and upgrades across its fleet as the company continues to strengthen its position in the Asian cruise market.
