Crystal has released further details of the facilities planned for Crystal Grace, providing a first look at the family and outdoor areas that will form part of the luxury vessel when it enters service in 2028. The new spaces reflect an expanded focus on multigenerational travel while maintaining the brand's traditional emphasis on upscale accommodation and onboard amenities.
A dedicated outdoor family area will be located on Deck 11, where younger guests and their families will have access to a shallow pool, recreational games and seating areas designed for shared activities and relaxation in an open-air setting.
Also on Deck 11, the new Waves Teen Center will become the largest teen facility across the Crystal fleet. Designed for guests aged 13 to 17, it will feature an entertainment lounge with a large screen for gaming and films, dedicated spaces for board and card games, and a music and dance area equipped with a sound system and dance floor. Daily supervised activities will be offered during peak family travel periods, including school holidays and the summer season.
Younger passengers aged between three and 12 will be accommodated in a redesigned Fantasia Children's Playroom. The venue will offer supervised activities, creative programmes and age-appropriate experiences, while the line will continue to provide drop-off programmes for younger children and in-room babysitting services.
Crystal indicated that the additional family facilities reflect increasing demand for multigenerational travel and that the new venues are intended to provide opportunities for families to spend time together while preserving the luxury experience for which the brand is known.
The centrepiece of the outdoor areas will be the Seahorse Pool on Deck 10, which is set to become the largest swimming pool in the Crystal fleet. The surrounding deck will accommodate 140 loungers across Decks 10 and 11, while a large outdoor LED screen will be used for entertainment and destination programming throughout the day and evening.
The ship will also introduce 60 private cabanas overlooking the Seahorse Pool. Located on Deck 11, each cabana will accommodate two guests and will be available on a first-come, first-served basis. A new pool bar, positioned aft of the main pool on Deck 10, will provide an additional social venue and will also be installed aboard Crystal Serenity during its forthcoming dry dock.
Crystal Grace is scheduled to embark on its inaugural voyage on June 11th, 2028, sailing on an 8-night itinerary from Civitavecchia (Rome) to Venice.
