Viking has taken delivery of Viking Haki, the latest addition to its Viking Longships fleet. The 190-passenger vessel will operate on the Rhine, Main and Danube rivers, serving several of the company’s established European itineraries.
The ship accommodates 190 guests in 95 cabins and features Viking’s Scandinavian design. Its key design elements include a patented square bow that allows for three full decks, an indoor-outdoor Aquavit Terrace and an asymmetrical corridor layout that enables the installation of 2-room suites.
Viking Haki is scheduled to operate the Rhine Getaway, Grand European Tour, Danube Waltz and Tulips & Windmills itineraries, as well as seasonal Christmas Market-themed voyages.
Based on its confirmed orders, Viking expects to add 17 riverboats by 2028, 11 ocean-going vessels by 2032 and 2 expedition ships by 2031. These deliveries would bring its river fleet to 114 boats in 2028 and its ocean fleet to 28 ships by 2032.
