Sea Cloud Cruises will operate a 7-night President’s Cruise aboard Sea Cloud Spirit from 20th to 27th July 2027, combining a luxury sailing along the Iberian coast with regional culinary experiences and a private after-hours visit to the Guggenheim Museum Bilbao.
The voyage will sail from Bilbao, Spain, to Lisbon, Portugal, hosted by Kevin Smith, President of the Americas for Sea Cloud Cruises, and his wife, Christina. The sailing will coincide with the first anniversary of Smith’s appointment and will be his first President’s Cruise in the role.
The itinerary includes visits to Oviedo, Santiago de Compostela and the Cíes Islands, as well as a full-sail day and a scenic passage along the Tagus River into Lisbon. One of the main highlights will be an exclusive evening at the Guggenheim Museum Bilbao, allowing guests to explore Frank Gehry’s landmark building and selected artworks outside regular opening hours.
The onboard culinary programme will focus on regional cuisine from northern Spain and Portugal, accompanied by wine pairings. An optional pre-cruise programme in Bilbao and Spain’s Rioja wine region will be available from 18th to 20th July 2027.
Sea Cloud Spirit accommodates up to 136 guests and is a three-masted, full-rigged sailing ship combining traditional sailing practices, including manually set sails, with contemporary facilities and a yacht-style atmosphere.
The cruise is intended to offer guests an opportunity to meet the company’s leadership while exploring the cultural and culinary destinations of the Iberian Peninsula.
