The ship World Dream left Meyer Werft’s covered building dock on Saturday, August 26, 2017. Extensive tests of vessel's safety systems were carried out in recent days, along with equipment & machine trials and interior completion.

The ship started leaving the dock at around 12-noon. After leaving, the ship berthed at the pier in the shipyard port in order to be fitted with its funnel.

The final work will be carried out during the following days while World Dream is still at Meyer Werft’s outfitting pier. A few days later, the first crew members will move into their cabins and make themselves familiar with the newbuild.

Prior to passing through the river Ems to the North Sea mid-September for sea trials, firstly the vessel will act as a backdrop for NDR 2 Papenburg Festival on September 9, 2017 - a day after Udo Lindenberg concert.
