Crystal River Cruises on Thursday (March 8) welcomed Crystal Debussy to its fleet. The latest addition to Crystal brings the river fleet to 4 luxury river vessels since the company launched its river experiences in 2016.
Crystal Debussy was delivered to Tom Wolber, Crystal president and CEO, at MV WERFTEN during the handover ceremony in Wismar. In attendance was chairman & CEO of Crystal’s parent company, Genting Hong Kong (GHK), Tan Sri Lim Kok Thay, group president of GHK, Colin Au, and CEO of MV WERFTEN, Jarmo Laasko.
Sailing between Amsterdam and Basel, the 106-passenger Crystal Debussy will travel along Rhine River, beginning with her maiden voyage round-trip from Amsterdam on April 9, 2018. Travelers will visit ports in Belgium and the Netherlands on the 7-day itinerary, with 10-day cruises also visiting Germany. Throughout 2018-2019, the vessel will sail routes of 7 and 10 days between Amsterdam and Basel along Rhine and Moselle, visiting Switzerland, Netherlands, Germany and Belgium.
