Miami FL-based SunStone Ships Inc. signed an agreement with shipbuilder China Merchants Industry Holdings to build a 3rd Ulstein CX103 design Infinity-class expedition cruise ship, to be named Ocean Victory. The newbuild is scheduled for delivery in March 2021.
SunStone signed a long term time charter contract for Ocean Victory. The ship will be technically managed by Cruise Management Intl, Miami. CMI Leisure, Miami will handle hotel operations.
Steel for the first Infinity-class vessel was cut earlier in 2018 at CMHI's Haimen shipyard. Named Greg Mortimer, it is due for delivery in August 2019 and will go on charter to Australia's Aurora Cruises.
