Crystal Ravel was welcomed into the fleet of Crystal River Cruises during a christening ceremony in Budapest.

The cruise company celebrated the occasion with Crystal’s president & CEO, Tom Wolber, ship’s godmother and Hungarian philanthropist, Mariann Peller, and Walter Littlejohn, Crystal River Cruises’ vice president & managing director.

The ceremony took place during the overnight stay of the vessel in Budapest on its 7-day ‘Danube Serenade’ cruise, allowing passengers to participate in the festivities, while Crystal crew looked on from the decks.

Crystal Ravel is currently sailing on 6- to 14-day itineraries between Vienna and Basel.

Next year, she will be the only river cruise ship to sail 7-night Danube voyages roundtrip from Vienna to cruise ports in Austria, Hungary and Slovakia.
