Poseidon Expeditions Cruise Visits 3 Seas and 3 Countries

A new Poseidon Expeditions cruise programme departs from Edinburgh in spring 2019 on a 12-day exploration into the north.

From the Highlands to High Arctic, June 3-14, 2019 the trip passes over Arctic Circle while crossing 3 seas and exploring islands representing 3 countries.

The cruise and the one that precedes it - "British Isles: Legendary History & Wild Nature", May 22-June 3, 2019) represent a regional first for the cruise line, popular with its Arctic and Antarctic cruises.

If booked by November 1, 2018 passengers receive Early Bird discounts of up to 15%. The per person double, suite accommodation rate, including discount, is from US$5,396 while the per person triple rate, with included discount, is US$4,136. Passengers sail aboard the recently refurbished MV Sea Spirit.

The route crosses 3 seas: The North Sea off Scotland’s northern coast; Norwegian Sea north of Orkney, and Faroe Islands and Greenland Sea approaching Spitsbergen, the biggest and only populated island in Svalbard Archipelago. Passengers can also explore 3 countries: Scotland, Norway and Denmark. 

Award-winning photographer, Rick Sammon (named Canon Explorer of Light), together with his wife, Susan, are expected to be onboard to host photo workshops and offer tips on how to make the most of photographic opportunities on the cruise.
