Fred Olsen is bringing the world ‘closer’ to more passengers than ever before, as the cruise line launched a packed programme of ‘closer’ cruising for next year with MS Braemar from Southampton UK.

Cruisers will be able to enjoy the enhanced facilities onboard following the extensive multi-million refurbishment programme across the fleet of Fred Olsen.

In addition, passengers will also be able to immerse themselves further into the destinations they are visiting aboard one of ship’s new Rigid Inflatable Boats (RIBs), that are expected to be installed onboard Braemar by the end of 2018. Each of the RIBs carries 12 people. At an extra cost, it takes guests ‘off the beaten tourist track’ in order to see extraordinary sights, such as isolated stretches of coastline and wildlife hotspots.

Highlights of Braemar ship's ‘closer’ programme from Southampton 2019 include:

  • 13-night ‘Cruising to the Heart of the Baltic’ voyage, departing May 26, 2019. Prices start from GBP1,699 per person. Ports of call include Southampton, Copenhagen, Helsinki, St Petersburg (overnight), Ronne, Travemunde, Kiel Canal Transit, Southampton. The trip concludes with a scenic cruise along Kiel Canal, which can be navigated only by smaller cruise ships, like Braemar.
