P&O Cruises Australia Announces Maiden Season of Pacific Adventure

P&O Cruises Australia announced the maiden season of line's first Grand Class vessel, Pacific Adventure (current Golden Princess), and new ‘Voyages’ cruises, featuring exclusive onboard experiences for journeys 13-nights and longer.

The new 2020 winter & spring program delivers 132 cruises including 57 Short Breaks of 2, 3 and 4 nights in duration departing Auckland, BrisbaneMelbourne and Sydney.

P&O ‘Voyages’ visit numerous exotic destinations while offering enhanced passenger experience starting with Captain’s Gala Cocktail Party. Throughout the longer journey, guests are able to take part in various activities covering topics like current affairs, arts and culinary experiences with talks and seminars from popular Australian guest presenters. The onboard events lead to a Masquerade Ball.

Pacific Adventure embarks on 18-night Southeast Asia & Australia ‘Voyages’ cruise out of Singapore in October 2020, visiting Penang, Langkawi, Cairns, Darwin, Airlie Beach and Brisbane prior to arriving in Sydney.

Highlights of P&O 2020 Sydney cruise season include:

  • Pacific Adventure joins P&O fleet October 2020 and is due to be homeported in Sydney. Her first 8 cruises visit New Zealand, Papua New Guinea, the South Pacific Islands and Fiji. This includes an 11-night New Guinea Island Encounter, 13-night Kiwi Adventure, and 14-night Fiji Explorer itinerary. Prices start from US$2,399 quad share for the 18-night maiden cruise aboard Pacific Adventure from Singapore departing October 12, 2020.
  • Pacific Adventure also offers shorter options including a 3-night comedy cruise, 4-night voyage to Moreton Island and a 6-night roundtrip Main Event itinerary to Melbourne Cup departing Sydney October 31, 2020.
  • Pacific Aria joins Pacific Adventure sailing from port Sydney between October and December 2020 offering 3- and 4-night Short Break cruise options and a couple of 10-night itineraries to South Pacific Islands.
  • P&O Main Event program includes 9 themed cruises. Pacific Explorer is due to depart from Sydney on a 6-night Dark Mofo voyage in June 2020 as well as Christmas and New Year’s Eve voyages on Pacific Aria and Pacific Adventure.
