Costa Luminosa Arrives in Tauranga for Her Only Visit This Season

Costa Luminosa arrived in the port of Tauranga for the first and only time this season. The visit is part of a 112-day world cruise.

The 294-meter vessel carrying a total of 2260 cruise passengers and 1050 crew members docked the Port of Tauranga at 6:25 a.m. today, March 4.

The cruise ship left the port at 5:30 p.m.

According to Nikita Fraser, Tourism Bay of Plenty cruise manager, it was the first and only visit of Costa Luminosa to Tauranga this season.

Currently, Costa Luminosa is sailing on a 112-day round-trip world voyage that left from Venice, Italy on January 5.

The cruise ship arrived from Rarotonga and is heading to Auckland tomorrow, March 5.
