Royal Caribbean messaged clients on Twitter on Tuesday, April 2, telling them that sail dates from Port Canaveral FL for April 7, 14 & 21 had been canceled.

The cruise company told its customers that anyone scheduled to go on the canceled voyages will get a full refund along with a 100% future cruise certificate in order to apply for a different sail date.

Shore excursions booked through Royal Caribbean Cruises will also be refunded.

The cancellation came following an accident in which 8 people were injured after a crane fell on Oasis of the Seas in the Bahamas on Monday. The vessel was out of service when the accident happened and no passengers were onboard.

According to Royal Caribbean officials, none of the injured had suffered life-threatening injuries.
