The newest cruiseferry plying the Irish waters - WB Yeats - received "Ferry of the Year 2019" award at Ferry Shipping Summit.
The Irish Ferries-operated cruise ship was recognized for a “striking exterior and timeless interior design.” It is currently crossing between homeports Dublin and Cherbourg up to 4 times weekly.
The newbuild that can transport up to 165 trucks and 1200 cars was also recognized for class-leading technologies and dynamic design, while also providing its 1800 passengers with comfort and style.
Along with Shippax Ferry Concept and Shippax Interior Architecture Awards, the ‘Ferry of the Year 2019’ award marked a hattrick of wins for W.B. Yeats.
