Royal Caribbean Introduces New Fees for Cruise Ship Attractions

Royal Caribbean announced it will start adding a new fee for several attractions on one of their ships starting November 2019.

The cruise line revealed that in order to improve passenger experience and minimize wait times, there will be a new fee for the North Star and Ripcord by iFly aboard Quantum of the Seas beginning with the November 16 itinerary.

The new fees are as follows: 

  • Ripcord by iFly: US$29 pp
  • North Star: US$12 adults pp / US$8 child pp (up to 11 years)
  • Bumper Cars: Complimentary (with an option to upgrade to Express Lane for US$5 pp). Express Lane option has to be paid onboard the ship at Seaplex/Bumper Car area.

Passengers will be able to buy tickets for the activities on Cruise Planner.

The new fees apply to Royal Caribbean's Quantum of the Seas on roundtrip cruises from Singapore starting November 16. Voyages that are 9 nights or more in length, as well as repositioning cruises, are excluded from the new fees.
