MSC Cruises Visits Greenland for the First Time

MSC Orchestra made a maiden call in Nuuk on Monday, August 19, marking the first time that an MSC Cruises’ ship has visited Greenland.

The visit was part of a 22-day voyage from Hamburg, Germany. The Orchestra ship sailed through Prince Christian Sund passage on Greenland's southern tip before berthing in the capital city of the territory.

After departing from Nuuk, the vessel headed for the Ilulissat port in Greenland, arriving on August 20. Next on Orchestra's itinerary is Qaqortoq, Greenland (August 23) and Isafjordur, Iceland (August 27).
