Holland America's new Club Orange premium amenities program is expected to be available on all ships of the company by October 2019.
Currently on 9 vessels, Club Orange gives passengers an additional level of service with priority access, special events, and exclusive amenities.
Club Orange is available to buy for a limited number of non-suite staterooms on each cruise and features stateroom upgrades within the category booked as well as a special "Captain's Choice" event. Guests in Pinnacle and Neptune suites receive all Club Orange benefits at no additional charge (excluding the onboard event and stateroom upgrade). All Club Orange passengers are privy to extra privileges, such as a private dining venue, a dedicated concierge hotline, and priority services.
Those who buy Club Orange receive an upgrade within the category booked to the best available stateroom. The upgrade is based on availability at the time of purchase. Also new is the "Captain's Choice" event which takes place during the voyage, exclusively for guests who buy Club Orange. The event could be one of a number of planned special experiences which may include exclusive pre-opening shopping access, behind the scenes hotel department tour, private coffee chat with Music Walk musicians, and more.
Amenities that come with the Club Orange program include priority disembarkation and check-in, priority tender service, priority alternative restaurant reservations made onboard. Club Orange guests have a dedicated line at Guest Services and the shore excursion desk, and a dedicated concierge hotline onboard for tour assistance, dining reservations, and general questions.
For most of HAL fleet, a dedicated section of the dining room is due to be designated for use by Club Orange passengers for breakfast and dinner. On ms Nieuw Statendam and ms Koningsdam, a separate Club Orange restaurant is open for breakfast and dinner. The venue serves the menu featured in Pinnacle Grill for breakfast and the main dining room for dinner. Menus on all cruise ships feature additional daily dishes that are exclusive to Club Orange.
Additional Club Orange benefits include an enhanced in-stateroom a la carte breakfast menu featuring complimentary premium selections like smoked salmon Benedict, steak and eggs, a welcome glass of sparkling wine at dinner on the day of embarkation, bathrobe for use in stateroom (available for purchase and monogramming), as well as an exclusive Club Orange tote bag.
Club Orange's cost is US$35 per person per day on ms Koningsdam and ms Nieuw Statendam and US$25 per person per day on all other cruise ships. The first and second passenger in the same stateroom, are both required to buy the program. There's no additional charge for 3rd and 4th guests in the same stateroom.
Club Orange has to be purchased before cruise departure. It is not available for purchase onboard.
