A suspicious package found at PortMiami Florida delayed the boarding process of Norwegian Breakaway.

According to the City of Miami Police, the scare had occurred close to Terminal F when a piece of luggage had been deemed suspicious, just before 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, September 22. Police and fire rescue units quickly responded and began an investigation, as K-9s sniffed out the suitcase in question.

Due to the accident, aggravated cruisers were forced to sit and wait for hours in the heat. As soon as authorities gave the all-clear, all travelers were allowed to board and started the roundtrip cruise to Puerto Rico.
