Two Passengers Removed from Celebrity Solstice in Picton

Two cruise passengers have been removed from a Celebrity Cruises ship after docking in Picton, New Zealand, following an onboard assault. NZ police removed the cruisers from Celebrity Solstice on Thursday, December 26. According to the police, the decision was made by the ship's Captain and no charges had been laid.

Celebrity Solstice haspassenger capacity 2850 (plus 1100 crew) and was on a roundtrip from Sydney NSW. The liner berthed in Picton NZ at ~11 am, with planned departure at 10 pm to Napier NZ.
