Avalon Waterways announces new Danube River ports and itineraries

The river cruise company Avalon Waterways announced that its brochure for 2021 has 6 new Danube River cruise ports and 3 new cruisetours that visit Bulgaria, Croatia, Romania and Serbia.

The new Danube ports include Ilok (Croatia), Golubac (Serbia), Constanta (Romania), Ybbs an der Donau (Austria) and Hainburg an der Donau (Austria).

Avalon's new 2021 Danube itineraries include: 9-day “Balkan Odyssey from Bucharest to Zagreb", 9-day “The Danube from Croatia to the Black Sea” (between Zagreb and Bucharest) and 16-day “The Danube from Germany to the Black Sea” (between Deggendorf and Bucharest).

Note: Due to the global Coronavirus pandemic, Avalon Waterways suspended fleetwide its passenger shipping operations by cancelling all voyages with pre-scheduled departures March 14 through June 30, 2020. Operations are planned to resume on July 1.
