CCL-Carnival Cruise Line announced that in light of continuing Australian travel restrictions due to the pandemic, it was extending its pause in departures from Australia through December 2, 2020, for Carnival Spirit and Carnival Splendor.

The company had previously announced pauses through October 29 and is now notifying travel agents and passengers about the new cancellations.

Carnival said it will resume cruising "when the time is right" with enhanced health measures developed in coordination with public health experts, government authorities, Cruise Lines International Association (CLIA), and local ports of call.

In its announcement, Carnival Cruise Line said it appreciated the understanding and support of travel agent partners and guests and looked forward to warmly welcoming passengers back onboard as soon as possible.

Now the company is making contact with travel agents and customers who are impacted and offers flexible options.
