The Carnival Corporation-owned AIDA Cruises (Germany's largest cruise company) will expand its itinerary program in fall 2020 with new voyages visiting some of Italy's best-known port cities, beginning on October 17, 2020.

The new 7-day itinerary departs from Port Civitavecchia-Rome and visits Sicily (Palermo and Catania) as well as Naples and La Spezia, with an overnight in Rome. The new cruises are offered weekly through November 28, 2020.

AIDA’s health and safety program is to be implemented on all voyages. Developed with leading medical experts, the new program has been audited by the classification society DNV-GL and the renowned independent auditing company SGS Institut Fresenius. The health and safety measures include a complimentary COVID test, regular temperature measurements for passengers and crew members, increased disinfection, and physical distancing.

The new Mediterranean voyages, as well as all other AIDA Cruises' offers, can be booked from Monday, September 21.
