ALMACO has been awarded the task to provide the two ships of the “Vega Project” with high-class passenger and crew cabins. The vessels - SH Minerva (NB 516) and SH Vega (NB 517) - are currently under construction at Helsinki Shipyard during 2020-2022. They are both owned and operated by Swan Hellenic.

The “Vega project”, for which the production commenced in April 2020 at Helsinki Shipyard, Finland, consists of the building and commissioning of two 152-passenger luxury ships. ALMACO has been tasked with designing, procurement, and construction of all of the vessels’ passenger and crew cabins, along with crew public areas.

The 113-meter-long vessels will be sailing in the Arctic and Antarctic waters during the winter and in tropical waters during the spring and fall. The newbuilds will offer their guests the latest polar ice-class technology combined with stylish interiors, a style Swan Hellenic calls ‘Scandi-luxe’ Chic. The staterooms are spacious with large bathrooms and allow comfortable in-room dining with a great view.
