MSC Cruises announced that it is further extending the temporary pause of all ex-USA departures.

The pause now runs through March 31, and the company hopes to restart passenger shipping operations in early-April. Previously, MSC cancelled cruises through February 28.

The decision affects the schedules of 4 Florida-based liners - MSC Armonia and MSC Meraviglia (both homeported in Miami) and MSC Divina and MSC Seaside (both in Port Canaveral).

Those who have paid in full the cruise fare and booked through MSC Cruises USA (or affiliated travel agencies) on the cancelled cruises will be offered a 125% FCC (Future Cruise Credit) of the original price.

This offers the opportunity to transfer the amount paid for the cancelled cruise to a future sailing of their choice, on any vessel and any itinerary through April 30, 2022.

Booked customers who instead want a cash refund can request full (100%) monetary refund.

The 125% FCC allows customers to upgrade their cabin category as well as to add pre-purchased amenities like drink packages, specialty dining, spa treatments, WiFi Internet.
