Princess Cruises extends suspension of sailings from Seattle WA through June 27

While Princess Cruises continues to work with a variety of the United States and Canadian government officials in order to preserve a portion of the Alaska 2021 season, the company announced it is extending its pause of cruises for sailings from Seattle WA through June 27, 2021.

The pause in operation affects the 7-day Alaska Inside Passage voyages on Majestic Princess and Emerald Princess.

For passengers booked on a cancelled cruise, Princess will offer to move them to the equivalent voyage in 2022. The rebooking will have the added benefit of protecting the 2021 fare on the guests' 2022 voyages. Alternatively, vacationers can choose an FCC (future cruise credit) equivalent to 100% of the fare paid plus a non-refundable bonus FCC equal to 10% of the fare paid (minimum US$25) or a full refund to the original form of payment.

Requests have to be received by April 15, 2021, or passengers will automatically receive the FCC option. The FCC can be used on any cruise sailing by December 31, 2022.

Princess Cruises will transfer the commission earned by travel agents from the cancelled 2021 sailing to the new booking in 2022 for bookings that were paid in full.
