SunStone’s Ocean Victory is ship number 3 in the line’s INFINITY series, while Ocean Explorer is number 4.
When signing up for the first SunStone INFINITY series' vessels, SunStone’s President and CEO Niels-Erik Lund, commented they had decided to partner up with Ulstein because of "their hull and the technical design, as well as their site team in China to supervise the production”.
The cooperation is "bearing fruit" - Ocean Victory and Ocean Explorer are now in their end phase of construction. Both ships are scheduled for delivery in April 2021.
The SunStone ships are customized versions of the ULSTEIN CX103 designs and all vessels in the series are chartered out to tour operators.
In the winter season, Ocean Victory has been chartered out to Albatros Expeditions and for the summer season to Victory Cruise Lines.
Ocean Explorer is due to be operated by Vantage Cruise Line.
