Swan Hellenic launches new Antarctica and America cruises

The expedition cruise line Swan Hellenic launched 10 new itineraries for its 2022 inaugural season in response to Australia-New Zealand’s extension of government restrictions to contain the COVID pandemic.

Ranging from Antarctica and Patagonia to Alaska, each voyage will be an introduction to Swan Hellenic’s new ship - SH Minerva, recently floated out from drydock at Helsinki Shipyard.

Swan Hellenic's voyages feature as call ports Ushuaia Argentina, Valparaiso-Santiago Chile, Callao-Lima Peru, Panama City, Puerto Quetzal Guatemala, Mazatlan Mexico, San Diego CA USA, Vancouver BC Canada, Seward AK USA. The 10- to 14-day long itineraries are scheduled for the period February-May 2022 and offer opportunities for wildlife, cultural, and archaeological discovery. These range from encounters with seals, whales, and penguins to Chilean fjords, native settlements, glaciers, volcanoes, Zapotec archaeological sites, desert towns, desert islands with rich marine ecosystems, as well as the extraordinary wilderness areas of the north.

The expeditions by zodiac offer varied activities, such as snorkeling, kayaking, trekking, expertly guided wildlife viewing supported by onboard talks.
