Costa Smeralda and Costa Fascinosa redeployed for the 2021-2022 Brazilian cruise season

Costa Cruises confirmed the redeployment of Costa Smeralda and Costa Fascinosa for the winter 2021-2022 Brazilian season.

Costa will sail around the country with two liners and launched the voyages with special benefits for Christmas & New Year aboard Smeralda embarking from Santos/Sao Paulo and Fascinosa from Rio de Janeiro.

According to Dario Rustico (Costa South & Central America), they had received the official confirmation of the 2021-2022 season from the authorities with great joy and confidence.

"For months we have been systematically meeting with the Brazilian authorities and we have prepared ourselves with great responsibility to build a very safe product, without losing the essence of offering the best in comfort, fun, service and relaxation at unbeatable prices for this great comeback."

Costa's flagship Smeralda is the largest cruise vessel sailing the Brazilian season. She will be in Brazil on December 20, sailing 7-night voyages departing from Salvador de Bahia and Santos. The season's last cruise will be on April 18 when the vessel crosses the Atlantic from Brazil to Italy/Mediterranean.
