MS Amadeus Cara enters Amadeus River Cruises' fleet in 2022

Amadeus River Cruisesnewest ship, ms Amadeus Cara, is scheduled to enter service in 2022.

The 163-passenger ship will sail on the Danube, Rhine River, and tributaries.

The introduction of ms Amadeus Cara will make the fleet one of the most modern and youngest in Europe, the company claims.

MS Amadeus Cara will boast a newly-developed air filtration system providing a 2-stage cleaning  “proven to achieve excellent results, even with Covid particles and bacteria”, the company said.

The first sailing of the 135-metre-long ship is an 8-day Rhine voyage between Basel (Zurich, Switzerland) and Amsterdam (Netherlands) departing on June 10, 2022. Prices start at GBP 1,686 per person.

UK product & sale manager Kirsty Reid said that the new ship in 2022 would "not only serve as much needed extra capacity increase for the great demand" for their high-quality river cruises but was also a promise to their passengers that they would continue to offer "one of the most modern fleets in the five-star segment.”
