Based on the latest guidelines by the authorities in Hong Kong China, Genting Cruise Lines announced that the MS Genting Dream ship would increase its max passenger capacity from 50% to 75% (2500+), effective from December 1, 2021.

Kent Zhu (Genting Cruise Lines' President) said that Dream Cruises was delighted to be able to increase the liner's passenger capacity and they would like to thank the Hong Kong authorities for providing them with that stamp of approval on the effectiveness of their health and hygiene protocols.

“Since we resumed cruises on 30 July, we have welcomed over 70,000 passengers on Genting Dream without any COVID-19 related incidents and we are grateful to the residents of Hong Kong for putting their trust in our hands.”

With overall demand for cruise vacations at a consistently high level since operations restarted and with the Christmas and New Year’s offers already sold out based on the previous 50% guest capacity, the increase will provide a boost to the season for travelers who have been unable to book a Super Seacation during the peak period.

Just in time for Christmas, passengers can set sail on “A Nordic Christmas Adventure” until January 1, 2022, to explore the traditions of Iceland, Sweden, Finland, Norway, and Denmark with family and friends this holiday. They can explore the enchanted Nordic village and browse the market for Christmas goodies or take in the Santa Express running through Gingerbread Town. Partake in a holiday feast in the wide range of restaurants onboard Genting Dream then take in the seasonal stage production “VERRY Christmas.”

As an added bonus, as well as to show appreciation for the loyal support of their passengers, Dream Cruises is offering a special Thanksgiving flash sale starting on November 24 to December 7 with fares starting from as low as US$888 per person.
